Biography
Junior (2006-07):
Named to the Atlantic Sun All-Academic Team for the third-consecutive year...played in 28 games and started 12, including seven of the final 10 games of the season...scored a season-best 13 points against both UNC Asheville and Lipscomb; both Campbell victories...added a career-high eight rebounds in the 72-56 victory over Lipscomb...made the fourth most three-pointers on the team last year, and the most among returning players...saw 10+ minutes of action in 23-of-28 games played, including a season-high 29 in the regular season finale at Gardner-Webb...perfect 2-for-2 from beyond the arc at Mercer...led the Lady Camels in rebounding and assists with seven at GWU...averaged 7.7 points per game over the final three games of the year...grabbed four or more rebounds in six different games...raised her per game point average almost a point and a half over the second half of the season

Had a breakout year setting or tying career highs in 12 statistical categories...averaged 4.5 points and 2.2 rebounds a game...named to the Atlantic Sun All-Academic Team...scored a career-high 15 points in the Lady Camels loss to High Point...hit 5-of-6 from the floor, 2-of-2 from three-point range and 3-of-5 free throws in that game...pulled down a career-best five rebounds against Winthrop and High Point...saw double-figure minutes in 14 games after achieving that just three times her freshman season...scored in double figures three times on the season: High Point (15), UNC Greensboro (10) and Jacksonville (10)...made the first five starts of her career (UNCA, High Point, GWU, Lipscomb, Belmont)
Freshman (2004-05):
Named to the Atlantic Sun All-Academic Team...saw action in 18 games as a freshman averaging 6.3 minutes per outing...scored a career-high six points in 19 minutes against Coastal Carolina...also had a career-high four rebounds, two assists and one block against the Chanticleers...shot a perfect 4-4 from the free throw line at Appalachian State, her third perfect game from the line (she was 2-2 in two games)...38 percent of her rebounds were on the offensive glass.
Prep:
Prepped at East Rowan High School...averaged 20.2 points and nine rebounds in her senior season en route to earning North Piedmont Conference Player of the Year and NCHSAA/iHigh.com All-State honors ... with a total of 1,917 career points, she finished her prep career as the all-time leading female scorer at East Rowan and holds the third highest scoring total in Rowan County history ... three-time North Piedmont Conference performer ... was a Miss North Carolina Basketball finalist in 2002-03 and the Rowan County Female Athlete of the Year ... in 2003-04 she earned spots on the North Carolina-South Carolina All-Star team and on the North Carolina East-West All-Star team ... holds the school record for points in a game with 40 and averaged 18.2 points per game for her career ... also played volleyball earning all-county and all-conference honors in 2002-03 ... she was also the league’s Co-Player of the Year and team MVP during her junior season.Personal: Daughter of Curtis and Leslie Rich ... full name is Maggie Ellen Rich ... born on July 25, 1986 ... majoring in education ... was a member of Team North Carolina for the Junior Olympic Games in Detroit, Mich. in the summer of 2003
