BUIES CREEK, N.C. -- Campbell University's men's basketball team has unveiled a new orange uniform for the 2012-13 season to complement its existing white (home) and black (road) sets.

The Under Armour uniform features a bright orange fabric with black lettering and numerals with white trim.  A pattern reminiscent of the 1970s Marquette team uniforms s runs down the side of the jersey and shorts.

The orange color combination also provides the Camels with a second option for home or road wear.  Last season, CU's first wearing Under Armour gear, Campbell wore white at home and black on the road.

In addition, the 2012-13 Camels will have the option to sport a set of silver shoes with orange trim.

For its entire Division I era (since 1977-78), Campbell has worn variations of white, black and orange uniforms.

The Fighting Camels open the 2012-13 season with a Nov. 1 exhibition at home against Coker.  Campbell hosts three-straight games at Gore Arena to start the regular season vs. Averett (Nov. 9), Northwestern State (Nov. 12) and Appalachian State (Nov. 16).
