CONWAY, S.C. – Campbell men's tennis dropped its regular season finale as it fell to Big South Conference foe Coastal Carolina Friday afternoon, 6-1, at the Coastal Carolina Tennis Complex.
With the loss Campbell falls to 12-9 overall and 5-3 in conference play; the Chanticleers improve to 10-5 overall and 5-1 in conference matches.
The Camels claimed its only point of the match after freshman Jonathan O'Neal defeated Pedro Leme in singles with a straight set victory, 6-3, 6-4.
Coastal Carolina swept doubles play by a combined score of 24-12 and claimed five-of-six singles matches.
Campbell will be back in action next week as it travels to Asheville, N.C., to participate in the Big South Conference Men's Tennis Tournament.
