BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell's Pioneer Football League game at Jacksonville has been canceled due to Hurricane Matthew.

The game was scheduled for a 7 p.m. kickoff at D.B. Milne Field in Jacksonville, Fla. on Saturday, Oct. 8, and will not be made up.

Jacksonville University has closed its campus through Sunday due to the storm, and after assessing the damage, the game was canceled.

Campbell (3-2, 1-1 PFL) heads into a bye week before returning home to host Stetson on Oct. 22, while JU (2-2, 1-0 PFL) hosts Dayton on Oct. 15.
