BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell heads to Morehead State for its final road trip of the 2016 season. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. at Jayne Stadium.

CAMEL NOTES
The Camels (4-4, 2-3 PFL) rank second in the PFL in total defense (292.1 yards allowed per game) and third in total offense (424.6 yards per game).

Senior running back De'Shawn Jones paces the Camels on the offensive side, rushing for 641 yards and nine touchdowns. The Fayetteville, N.C. native is Campbell's all-time leading rusher (2,632 yards). Aaron Blockmon, a redshirt sophomore wide receiver, has hauled in a Campbell single-season record 746 receiving yards and eight touchdowns in 2016.

Senior linebacker Daniel Bostick leads CU with 51 tackles on the year, while redshirt senior Syd Holt owns a team-best 7.5 tackles for loss, adding 4.0 sacks.

SCOUTING MOREHEAD STATE
The Eagles head into Saturday's contest at 3-6 overall and 2-4 in PFL play following a 54-28 win at Butler. MSU leads the PFL in total offense at 445.9 yards per game, led by 2015 PFL Offensive Player of the Year Austin Gahafer, who has thrown for 2,745 yards and 22 touchdowns this season. Jake Raymond owns 734 receiving yards and four scores. Ryan Bennett paces the Eagle defense with 81 tackles, including 5.5 for loss.

Morehead State leads the all-time series 5-3, taking last season's meeting 31-27 on a final minute score. Campbell took the last meeting at MSU 31-24.

LAST TIME OUT
Jared Joyner ran for a career-high 184 yards and Campbell defeated Davidson 28-0 Saturday in a Pioneer Football League game at Barker-Lane Stadium.

Anthony Robbins threw for 198 yards and two scores, while the Camel defense (4-4, 2-3 PFL) limited the Wildcats (2-8, 0-7) to just 218 yards of total offense.

The Camels held a PFL team scoreless for the first time in nine seasons as a league member.  Saturday's blanking marked the third shutout for the Camel defense in the team's Division I era (since 2008) and the first since a 10-0 triumph over UVA-Wise on Sept. 8, 2012.

Joyner's total was the third-highest in Campbell's Division I history. His 32 carries are the second-most in the modern era, behind C.J. Oates' 36 attempts in 2008 at Carthage College.

Robbins completed 15-of-24 passes for two scores, while Aaron Blockmon had six catches for 110 yards and a TD.  The performance was Blockmon's fourth 100-yard receiving game of the season and the fifth of the sophomore's career.

Campbell won its fourth in a row over its in-state PFL rival and claimed its fifth victory in the last six meetings with the Wildcats.
