BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Matt Parrish drove in four on a 4-for-5 day with two doubles, leading Campbell to a 12-4 win Sunday at Jim Perry Stadium, claiming its weekend series over Canisius.

Campbell (6-5) bounced back from a 7-4 loss Saturday to top the Griffins (3-8). The Camels topped Friday's opener 7-2.

After Parrish's two run single in the bottom of the fourth tied it up at 3-all, the senior doubled in the sixth and seventh, knocking in two more runs with his second two-bagger, extending the Campbell lead to 10-4.

Parrish's two run double was part of a nine run outburst for the Camels over their last three at-bats. CU plated three in the sixth with RBI from Kyle Prats and Drew Butler. Butler knocked in another in a four run seventh. Anthony Lopez and Zach Minnick added two more runs for Campbell in the bottom of the eighth to make it 12-4.

Michael Horrell (1-1) picked up the win, going six innings with four runs, three earned, on six hits with four strikeouts and a walk. Erik Dowse earned the save, going three scoreless innings with two hits, three strikeouts and three walks.

J.P. Stevenson (0-3) took the loss for the Griffins, allowing five runs, four earned, on six hits with eight strikeouts and a walk in five innings.
