BUIES CREEK, N.C. – For the second straight season, Campbell will team with the Vs. Cancer Foundation to help fight childhood cancer.

This year's Vs. Cancer event will be on Saturday, April 9 following the Camels' Big South matchup against Gardner-Webb.

The Vs. Cancer Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to saving kids' lives by empowering athletes and communities to fund lifesaving childhood cancer efforts.

In Campbell's first year teaming with the Vs. Cancer Foundation in 2015, the Camels raised more than $7,000. The team hopes to top the $8,000 mark this season.

Want to help?

Support the Vs. Cancer Foundation by making a donation to our team. The process is fast, easy, and secure... and you can be sure that it will benefit a great cause!

Where does the money go?

Half of all proceeds will benefit national childhood cancer research, and the other half will help kids directly undergoing treatment at a local children's hospital.

Basically- we believe that we need to invest in our kids of tomorrow, while also helping kids just be kids even while battling cancer, all in our backyard.

WE NEED YOUR HELP. Tweet it out, post it on Facebook, and spread the word. We are doing everything possible to ensure that when the next child has to hear the words of a diagnosis, we have their back. We are saving kids' lives.
