BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Matt Parrish went 3-for-4 and Zach Minnick drove in two to lead Campbell over Presbyterian 7-5 Sunday at Jim Perry Stadium, winning the Big South series for the Camels.

Campbell moved to 24-22 overall and 11-7 in Big South play with the win, while PC dropped to 24-23 on the season and 10-11 in conference games.

Campbell took game one of the series Friday night 1-0 behind Nick Thayer's complete game shutout before PC evened the set with a 4-2 win Saturday.

Parrish singled and scored in the first, third and seventh for the Camels in the win, coming around on Minnick hits twice. Minnick's RBI single in the first gave Campbell a 2-1 lead, and the freshman's double to center two innings later was part of a four run CU third.

Parrish also knocked in a run and Adam Wyse singled in two more in the third for the Camels, going ahead 6-1.

Anthony Lopez also homered in the first, his sixth of the season and second of the weekend, answering after PC put up a run in the opening frame.

The Blue Hose clawed back with four runs over the final five stanzas, including a Tyler Weyenberg RBI single with two out in the ninth, but Erik Dowse notched a strikeout to close the door, one of four punchouts for the junior reliever.
