HAMPTON, VA. – Kent State topped Campbell 18-14 Saturday, closing out competition in the 2018 Virginia Duals at the Hampton Coliseum.
Kent State moves to 10-6 in dual matchups, while Campbell dips to 3-6 with the loss.

Korbin Meink led off the match with a 6-3 win over Jake Ferri, Kent State posted four straight decisions to build a 12-3 lead.
Quentin Perez snapped the run at 165 pounds, posting a 16-6 major decision over Isaac Bast, and
Andrew Morgan followed with another major decision, 16-4, to pull Campbell within a point in the team scoring, 12-11.

Chris Kober clinched the Kent State victory, giving the Golden Flashes an 18-11 advantage with one bout remaining. Campbell's
Jere Heino closed out the match with a 10-3 decision over Devin Nye.
The Camels fell to Old Dominion 22-18 and No. 10 Virginia Tech 4-0 Friday to top the Virginia Duals.
Campbell returns home and opens its Southern Conference slate on Thursday, January 18 hosting Appalachian State.
