Andrew Morgan's decision at 184 pounds highlighted No. 21 Campbell's efforts at No. 11 Pittsburgh Saturday at Fitzgerald Field House, with the Panthers taking the top-25 matchup 28-6.
Morgan, unranked in the InterMat poll, but ranked as high as No. 20 at 184 by The Open Mat, topped sixth-ranked Nino Bonaccorsi 11-8, remaining undefeated at 5-0 on the year.
Korbin Meink started the day with an 11-8 decision over Louis Newell at 125 pounds, giving the Camels an early 3-0 lead before Pitt took six straight matchups.
Six of the day's 10 bouts featured at least one ranked individual, including four matches with two ranked wrestlers.
The Panthers took a pair of bonus point wins, with No. 19 Cole Matthews pinning No. 13
Josh Heil (1:27) at 141 pounds, and Jake Wentzel defeating No. 15
Quentin Perez in a 9-1 major decision.
Campbell gets right back on the mat tomorrow at Ohio. The match begins at 4:00 p.m. at the OU Convocation Center.
