HAMPTON, VA. – Campbell did not drop a set Monday in a 7-0 men's tennis victory over Hampton. Campbell (13-4, 6-1) won its sixth-straight match and is tied for first place in the Big South Conference standings.
The Camels secured the doubles point behind a 6-2 victory from
Gerard Sola and
Louis Monterosso and a default at the third position.
Bastien Huon and Sola only lost game in singles wins at the second and fourth position, respectively.
Raphael Calzi extended his win streak to six singles matches, while Werner and
Ondrej Labik also claimed victories.
Ted Williams won by default at the sixth place.
Hampton (1-14, 0-6) dropped its eighth-straight decision.
The Camels, who have won 12 of their last 13 outings, host Radford (14-5, 5-2) Wednesday and will earn at least a share of the Big South regular season title with a victory.
