Luke Ward gathered a game-high 10 tackles, with Sidney Otiwu adding an interception with seven tackles for the Bears.

Campbell took a 13-6 lead into the break that included a pair of Colin Gary field goals.

After Mercer tied the game at 13-13 on Tucker Cannon's 24 yard touchdown catch with 1:08 to go in the third quarter, the teams combined for 533 yards of offense over the remainder of the game, with Campbell, totaling 279 yards on its final four possessions, finding the end zone on three-straight possessions, and running out the final 5:10 of the game with an 11-play, 61-yard drive.
