BUIES CREEK, N.C. -- Ondrej Labik and
Raphael Calzi both won their fourth-straight singles decisions to lead Campbell to a 6-1 win over Appalachian State Saturday afternoon at the Nisbet Tennis Center.
The win marked the fourth-straight for the Camels (4-2) who are a perfect 3-0 at home this season.
Labik and
Bastien Huon paired in doubles action to win their fourth-straight outing with a 7-6 decision at No. 2 to clinch the doubles point.
Robin Angles opened double play alongside
Fernando Clemente at No. 1 with a 6-3 win.
After clinching the doubles point, Campbell reeled off four wins to clinch the match.
Gustavs Lukstins clinched the match at No. 4 for the second consective contest with a 6-2, 6-4 win at No. 4.
Calzi opened singles action for the Camels with a 6-3, 6-2 two set win at No. 1 to improve his record to 4-2 on the year.
Labik followed with a 6-4, 6-3 win to make it 3-0 in favor of the Camels. The win imroved Labik's record to 4-2 on the season with all of those decisions coming at No. 3.
After Lukstins clinched the match,
Bastien Huon pushed his record to 4-2 on the season with a 4-6, 6-2, 10-3 win at No. 2.
Angles closed out the afternoon with a 6-3, 4-6, 6-0 win at No. 6.
Campbell returns to action on Wednesday against The Citadel at 2:30 p.m.Â
