BUIES CREEK, N.C. -- Gustavs Lukstins clinched the match at No. 4 to lead the Camels to a 5-2 win Monday afternoon.
Lukstins sealed the match at No. 4 for the Camels (5-3, 1-0 Big South) with a 2-6, 6-3, 6-0 comeback win.
Campbell opened doubles play with a 6-1 win from
Robin Angles and
Fernando Clemente at No. 3 before
Raphael Calzi and
Gustavs Lukstins clinched the doubles point with a 6-4 win at No. 1.Â
Angles followed to open singles action with a 6-3, 6-3 two set decision at No. 5 before
Bastien Huon set up the clincher with a 6-3, 6-4 win at No. 2.
After Matthew Lee won 6-3, 7-5 at No. 6 for Navy (15-5), Lukstins secured the match at No. 4.
Ondrej Labik followed with a 6-0, 5-7, 6-4 win at No. 3 before Navy got one back at No. 1 to close out the afternoon.
Campbell has now won five of its last six outings and returns to action on Thursday against South Carolina State.
