CORVALLIS, ORE. – Campbell defeated No. 16 Lehigh 22-11 before falling to No. 21 Oregon State 23-12 in back to back duals against nationally-ranked opponents Saturday at Gill Coliseum.

Campbell (2-1) extended its dual winning streak, dating back to the 2021 season, to 10 with its victory over the Mountain Hawks (0-1) before suffering its first loss in 10 months to Oregon State (1-0).

The Camels' win over Lehigh marked the first ever for a Southern Conference program over the Mountain Hawks. Campbell's last win over a ranked opponent came in January 2020 when the Camels defeated then-No. 11 Iowa State by a 22-14 score.

Jumping out to a 9-3 lead after No. 15 Josh Heil's 3-2 decision over No. 29 Jimmy Hoffman, Troy Nation kickstarted a CU run with an 8-6 win in extra time over No. 30 Brian Meyer. No. 12 Austin Murphy and No. 18 Caleb Hopkins followed with decisions, and Chris Kober clinched the win with a 12-2 major decision over JT Davis.

Immediately following the win over Lehigh, the Camels took on the host Beavers. Down 6-0 after a pin to open the match at 125, CU's Domenic Zaccone downed No. 15 Devan Turner 5-4 at 133. Heil also picked up his second win of the night against a ranked opponent, blanking No. 25 Corey Crooks 5-0 before three straight OSU wins extended the lead to 18-6.

No. 18 Caleb Hopkins then defeated Mason Reiniche 3-2, and No. 32 Levi Hopkins edged No. 27 J.J. Dixon 3-1 to bring the Camels within 18-12, but Oregon State's No. 24 Gary Truab closed out the win for the Beavers with a tech fall.

Next up, the Camels will head to NC State's Wolfpack Open on November 14.
