CLINTON, S.C. – Campbell won the doubles point, but Presbyterian rallied to claim four singles matches and earn a 4-3 men's tennis victory Tuesday afternoon.
Benjamin Niv and
Matthew Beecher won a third-straight decision at the top doubles position for Campbell (0-8, 0-4 Big South), while Benjamin
Maes and
Gustavs Lukstins also won at the second spot.
After PC's Max Benson leveled the dual match score at 1-1 with a straight-sets victory at the top singles spot, the Blue Hose (6-3, 1-1) ultimately secured the match when Alberto
Conde won at the sixth position.
Beecher earned a straight-sets win at the second singles post, while
Maes won three-set decision at number three.
The Camels return to action Saturday at Charlotte.
