BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – Gardner-Webb won the doubles point, then claimed five singles matches in a Big South Conference men's tennis victory over Campbell Monday afternoon.
Matthew Beecher earned the lone point for the Camels (0-3, 0-1 Big South) with a 6-0, 6-3 victory over Breno Plentz at the No. 3 singles position.
Campbell returns to action Saturday with a 2:00 p.m. start against South Carolina State at the Nisbet Tennis Center.
