BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell extended its dual match win streak to six after Sunday's 6-1 victory over Davidson at the Nisbet Tennis Center.
The Camels claimed the doubles point after surrendering only one game at the top two positions.
Tomas Balazi and
Leon Petko won 6-1 at No. 1, while
Damien Nezar and
Benjamin Maes did not drop a game and extended their win streak to seven matches.
In singles play, Nezar, Balazi and Maes secured the deciding points in straight sets before
Leon Petko added a 7-6, 7-5 win at No. 5 and
Noe Macquart won in three sets at No. 6.
Maes won his seventh-straight singles match, Petko extended his win streak to six, while Nezar and Macquart both won for the fifth-straight outing.
Campbell (6-3) opens Big South Conference play Saturday (Mar. 4) at Presbyterian in a 1 p.m. first serve.
