CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Campbell closed out the regular season with a 4-3 victory Saturday over Charlotte at the Halton-Wagner Tennis Complex.
The Camels (14-6) won the doubles point, then split the singles matches to extend their win streak to three outings.
Leon Petko claimed a straight-sets win at No. 6 singles, while
Damien Nezar and
Robin Angles both rallied to win in three after dropping their first set.
Campbell, the Big South regular season co-champs, opens play in the Big South tournament Friday (Apr. 21) against Presbyterian.
