LEXINGTON, Va. – The Campbell Fighting Camels clinched their fourth SoCon regular season title tonight, defeating VMI 46-0 at Cormack Hall.
The Camels end the regular season with a 14-3 record and an unblemished 8-0 in conference matches. Anthony Molton, Austin Murphy, Caleb Hopkins, Levi Hopkins and Taye Ghadiali all finished the conference season undefeated.

Campbell has won the regular season conference title in four of the past six seasons, its first coming in 2019. They now turn towards the conference tournament, which they have won five overall and four of the last five (2017, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022).
The SoCon Championship will take place March 9 in Boone, N.C. The seedings and brackets will be announced on March 6, with the All-SoCon team and award winners announced on March 7.
Against VMI, the Camels recorded nine bonus-point victories. Molton, Domenic Zaccone, Justin Rivera, Chris Earnest and Ghadiali each recorded tech falls. Levi Hopkins recorded the lone pin on the night, locking up Josh Evans at the 5:59 mark.
Wynton Denkins earned the upset win over Patrick Jordon, who is ranked #31 in the latest RPI rankings at 141 pounds. Murphy also defeated a No. 31 ranked RPI wrestler in Braxton Lewis at 174.
