BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell claimed it second home victory of the week, defeating Gardner-Webb 5-2 on Saturday afternoon at the Nisbet Tennis Center.

Campbell improved to 7-4 on the season, including a 4-0 mark at home, while GWU dropped to 1-5.

The Runnin' Bulldogs claimed the early lead, with Courtney Fyvie and Alizee Poulin topping CU's Tamsin Hart and Veronika Prospalova 6-3, clinching the doubles point.

Campbell's Lena Karlovcan started singles play with a 6-1, 6-0 win over Katie Watts, knotting the team score at 1-1, with the first of five straight for the Camels. Lily Chitambar clinched the dual for CU, topping Courtney Fyvie 7-6, 6-2.

Next up, Campbell will head to Charleston, S.C., taking on Samford on March 7 before taking on the College of Charleston on March 8.
