FARMVILLE, VA. – Campbell dealt former Big South Conference foe Longwood a 6-1 defeat on Friday.
The Camels moved to 6-5 on the season, ending a four match losing streak, while Longwood dipped to 3-3 overall.
Campbell swept the doubles matchups, clinching the opening point with
Damien Nezar and
Benjamin Maes' 6-1 win over Timeo Puech and Luis Reis.
The Camels then won five of six singles contests, starting with
Pol Otin's 6-4, 7-5 win over Lorenzo Meschini. Maes closed out the dual win with his three set win (6-0, 5-7, 6-3) over Petar Belosevic.
Next up, Campbell will head to Radford on March 16.
