WILMINGTON, N.C. - Campbell (35-20-1) wins game one 1-0 against Hofstra (23-26), advancing them to game nine of the CAA championship. 

Game One- Campbell 1, Hofstra 0

Both teams battled back and forth offensively and defensively with no runs scored, until Delaney McDilda hit a walk-off single in the ninth inning to advance the Camels in the CAA Championship. Alyssa Henault, Tyra Parker, Lindsay Lumsden, Kayla Thomas, Madilyn Gillespie and Charlie Montgomery all compiled hits as well.

Julia Apsel (19-12) was charged with the loss after pitching 8.2 innings and allowing 12 hits, one earned run and three strikeouts. 

Isabella Smith (24-7) was credited with the win after pitching 9.0 innings and allowing seven hits, no runs and 10 strikeouts. 
 
Game Two- Campbell 2, Delaware 2

Campbell and Delaware are playing in game nine of the championship, which is an elimination game. The game was suspended going into the fourth inning due to inclement weather.

Game nine will resume tomorrow, May 11, at 12:00 PM. The winner of game nine, Campbell or Delaware, will go into game ten against UNCW at 2:00 PM. There will only be an eleventh game if necessary.
