BUIES CREEK, N.C. – The Campbell wrestling team earned its first victory of the 2025–26 season Saturday at the Mason Duals in Fairfax, Va., defeating Williams College 28-14. The Camels also faced the host, George Mason, and Bloomsburg, falling in both duals.

Conor Maslanek each notched two wins on the day to lead the Camels.
Campbell opened the event against George Mason, with Crouch earning the first victory of the day at 125 pounds with a 16-6 major decision. The Patriots quickly swung momentum with a string of wins, but the Camels finished strong as Maslanek earned a 12-9 decision at 197 pounds and freshman
Brycen Arthur collected a forfeit win at heavyweight. George Mason claimed the dual, 34–13.
The Camels responded in their second dual with their first team win of the season, taking seven of 10 bouts against Williams College. Crouch once again opened with a win, a 7-2 decision. Phillips pinned his opponent in 2:53 at 141 pounds to regain the lead for the Camels. Redshirt freshman
Brandon Bauer followed with a 12-9 sudden-victory win at 149, and Hodge added a 19-4 technical fall at 165. Graduate student
Ryan Bolletino earned a decision at 174, while Maslanek dominated his bout at 197 with a 20-3 technical fall. Arthur capped the dual with a 6-2 decision at heavyweight as Campbell claimed a 28-14 win.
In the final dual of the day, Campbell was unable to overcome an early deficit against Bloomsburg. Phillips earned a 10-4 decision at 141 pounds, and Hodge added another with a pin at 6:51. Senior
Brant Cracraft battled to a 4-1 sudden-victory decision at 184, but Bloomsburg secured the team win, 28–12.

Campbell will compete at the Throwdown on the Yorktown II on Nov. 15, held on the flight deck of the historic USS Yorktown aircraft carrier in Mount Pleasant, S.C. The Camels will face three opponents: Lander at 10 a.m., Penn at 1 p.m., and Southern Conference foe Presbyterian at 3 p.m.
