CHARLESTON, S.C. – Campbell wrestling saw their SoCon conference winning streak come to an end, falling 11-24 to The Citadel at McAlister Field House Friday night.
Campbell (10-9, 6-1 SoCon) had wins at 133, 141 and 157 pounds, but the Camels could not create momentum against the Bulldogs (8-4, 4-2).
Three matches on the night went to overtime, with the Bulldogs coming away with the decision in each bout.
UP NEXT
The regular season finale awaits the Camels and a matchup against App State on the road. The match will begin at 3:00 on Sunday the 23rd. The action will be streamed on FloWrestling.

"Our guys caught themselves clinging on hoping to ride away with a lead and you can't win matches like that. That's the first time all year I was disappointed with the fight from our guys. I hope it's a wake-up call for them because it's going to take a lot more to see any success at the end of the year. It's back to work and we will see how they respond."
