Camels host NC A&T on national TV

BUIES CREEK - Campbell hosts NC A&T in a nationally televised contest in Gore Arena Monday night at 8 p.m. The game will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network as the Camels look to win their seventh consecutive game to remain tied for third in the CAA.

Series History
The Camels and Aggies have met 17 times in a series going back to 1978, with Campbell going 8-9 in the series. The sides split last season's two league meetings with both teams defending home court. Jasin Sinani led the way in Campbell's 64-62 win at home last year with 14 points. 

Last Time Out
Campbell won its sixth straight game and avenged an earlier loss with a 76-58 win over Elon Thursday night. CU led by as many as 23 in the contest to roll to the victory. The win featured a solid balance on both sides of the ball with Campbell hitting 12 three-pointers while holding Elon to less than 40% from the floor and only 20% from three.

The Camels had no problem's with Elon's height (the nation's tallest team), outscoring the Phoenix 32-22 in the paint and pulling down a season-high 16 offensive rebounds. 

Scouting The Aggies
NC A&T enters with a 4-20 record, 0-11 in CAA play. While winless in the league, the Aggies have been on the cusp numerous times, including one-possession losses at Charleston and at William & Mary.

The dynamic duo of Ryan Forrest and Landon Glasper lead the Aggies averaging 19.1 and 18.5 points per game, respectively, putting both in the top four in the CAA. Nikolaos Chitikoudis leads the league in rebounding with 9.0 boards per game.

NC A&T is led by Monte Ross in his third season at the helm.

Campbell heads north for a pair of road games next week at Northeastern on Thursday and Delaware on Saturday. Both games will be available on FloCollege.
