Camels again named CSCAA Scholar All-America team

BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell has again been honored as a Scholar All-America Team by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for the 2024-25 Fall.

The Camels, led by second-year head coach Zachary Bagby, carried a 3.76 team GPA through the fall semester. Additionally, the Coastal Athletic Association was one of nineteen total conferences demonstrating their commitment to academic excellence by placing 100% of their active men's or women's teams on the Scholar All-America Team list.

The CSCAA announced a total of 781 teams from 459 institutions as Scholar All-America teams for the Fall 2024 semester. These teams, comprising 19,209 student-athletes, were recognized for their outstanding academic achievements.

To earn this prestigious recognition, teams were required to achieve a grade point average (GPA) above 3.0 during the Fall 2024 semester. Of the selected teams, an impressive 654 recorded a GPA of 3.30 or higher, qualifying them for the Intercollegiate Coach Association Coalition All-Sport Academic Standings.

Samantha Barany, Executive Director of the CSCAA, commented on the impressive accomplishments, saying, "The commitment to academic excellence demonstrated by these teams is truly admirable. It is inspiring to see student-athletes excel both in the pool and in the classroom. The CSCAA takes great pride in honoring and celebrating their dedication and achievements."
