Swimming named 2025 Spring CSCAA Scholar All-America Team

BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Boasting one of the nation's top GPAs, Campbell has again been named a Scholar All-America Team by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), this time for the 2025 spring semester.

"Our program has a proud tradition of academic excellence, and our most recent fall and spring team GPAs reflect that commitment," said Campbell head coach Zachary Bagby. "Achieving this level of performance requires the alignment of many variables. A 3.85 GPA, earned by a team of STEM majors, is a powerful example of what happens when hard work and discipline meet the right conditions."

During the 2025 spring semester, the Fighting Camels posted a Campbell single-semester record 3.85 GPA, which ranked third in all of NCAA Division I, trailing just Miami (FL)'s 3.89 GPA, and Kansas' 3.85.

To earn this prestigious honor, teams were required to achieve a grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 or higher during the Spring 2025 semester.

Campbell was one of 763 total teams from 432 institutions as Scholar All-America Teams for the Spring 2025 semester across all divisions in collegiate men's and women's swimming. These teams, comprising 18,459 student-athletes, were recognized for their outstanding academic achievements.

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development
