PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Campbell's wrestling season concluded on day two of the NCAA Championship, held at the Wells Fargo Center.

Levi Hopkins made it to the second day of the competition, falling in the second consolation round to the 11 seed. He came away with one win at the event, defeating (28) Payton Thomas from Navy in the first consolation round, MD 14-4. This was the third and final Nationals competition for Hopkins, who ends his incredible career at Campbell.

Hopkins career ends with him being a three-time member of the All-SoCon team. Throughout his time at Campbell, Hopkins never lost to a SoCon opponent in a dual meet.

Shannon Hanna also ended his collegiate career with his third visit to NCAAs. He fell in a tightly contested consolation round against the 32 seed Nash Singleton out of Oregon State, TB-1 2-1.

Hanna was a two-time member of the All-SoCon team during his time in Buies Creek. He lost only two dual meets against SoCon foes during his time, and last summer he earned the bronze medal at the U23 Pan-Am Championships while wrestling for The Bahamas.

Wynton Denkins recorded a win in his first visit to the national tournament, defeating (30) Gabe Willochell (WYO) with a sudden victory takedown in the second round of prelims. After giving up a takedown with 30 seconds to go, Denkins scored a reversal to force sudden victory and eventually secured the win with a takedown.

Denkins season ends with over 30 victories and an at-large bid to the NCAA Championship. He recorded seven bonus-point victories, a fourth place finish at the Southern Scuffle and a first place finish at the Franklin & Marshall Open.
