Camels fall in CAA Quarterfinals

ELON, N.C. - Campbell's season came to a close with a CAA quarterfinal loss to 3-seed Delaware Friday morning. The 6-seed Camels fell 4-0 to the Blue Hens.

Delaware grabbed the doubles point with a pair of 6-3 wins on courts 1 and 3, over the CU duos of Pieczynska/Kivity and Aneca/Prospalova.

The Blue Hens then nabbed the first three singles matches to put the match away 4-0. All six Camels dropped the first set, with Garcia, Aneca, and Kivity falling first and surrendering the points to Delaware.

Deren Ozel dropped her first set in a tiebreaker, but led 2-0 in the second set before the match was called. 

Campbell finishes the season with an 8-9 overall record, and a 3-2 league mark.
