WILLIAMSBURG, VA. – Kate Draddy and Paige Gilbert combined for 14 points, leading William & Mary past visiting Campbell 19-16 on Saturday in the 2025 season finale for both teams at Martin Family Stadium at Albert-Daly Field.
The Tribe finish their 2025 campaign at 6-10 overall and 2-6 in CAA games, while Campbell wraps its second year in the conference at 3-12 overall and 1-7 in league play.
Draddy and Gilbert combined for three goals and an assist in the fourth quarter alone, helping the Tribe pull ahead for good after
Sam Bischoff's fifth goal of the day tied the game at 12-12 to start the final frame (14:21).
With the game featuring five ties, including four in the second half, William & Mary closed on a 7-4 spurt, including back-to-back free position goals from Draddy to make it an 18-15 lead for the Tribe with 4:29 to play.
After the Tribe led 8-4 at the halftime break, Campbell tied the game at 9-9 with 8:17 on the clock in the third with a 5-1 run before W&M's seven fourth quarter goals.
Draddy ended the day with six goals and an assist with five draw controls, three caused turnovers and three ground balls. Gilbert tacked on four goals and three helpers, while collecting eight draw controls, and a pair of ground balls. Ainsley Huizenga added a hat trick with three goals, while Molly Delaney posted four caused turnovers and Finley Hoffman picked up four ground balls with a goal.
Bischoff, meanwhile, totaled five goals with two assists and nine draw controls for the Camels, with
Rasa Welsh notching four goals, an assist, six draw controls, two ground balls and two caused turnovers.
Hailey Kohlmann added a game-high six ground balls with two goals and two caused turnovers, and
Delaney Nicolaus posted two goals and two assists.
Alana Lepore also tallied nine saves in goal, with three ground balls.
