SCOUTING LONGWOOD: The Lancers enter this contest losers of their last three matches. 2-1 defeats at the hands of Wofford and Liberty were followed by a 0-2 loss to No. 15 West Virginia this past Friday. Their lone win on the season was a 3-2 victory over East Tennessee State on Aug. 29. Brando Bedolla leads the squad with two goals and an assist, and Syrus Conolly has also contributed two goals. Ezrah Serralde and Kevin Peprah are responsible for the remaining two goals scored. Paul Gilbert is in his second season at the helm, and his squad was picked to finish third in the preseason Big South poll.

SERIES HISTORY: The Camels are 9-4-1 all-time against the Lancers with a 38-26 goal advantage. Campbell won a 3-1 decision last year against the former Big South opponent.

LAST TIME OUT: Campbell played Charleston to a nil-nil draw on Saturday. The Camels recorded two more shots and put two more efforts on frame than the Cougars.

DAPAAH AND MATOS EARN PRESEASON HONORS: Filipe Matos and
Evans Dapaah were named to the Preseason All-CAA Team as voted on by the coaches. Matos led the Camels in goals and points last year, while Dapaah was a strong mainstay within the Campbell midfield.

RETURNING EXPERIENCE: Five Camels that recorded over 1,000 minutes in 2024 make their return to Eakes for the 2025 season.
