BUIES CREEK, N.C. – The Campbell wrestling team continued the 2025-26 season Friday night at Gore Arena, dropping duals to Gardner-Webb and Clarion.

Five Camels recorded individual victories, led by an undefeated night from sophomore Kendrick Hodge. Hodge earned two decision wins, including a sudden-victory result against Gardner-Webb. 

Redshirt freshman Colby Crouch, graduate student Ryan Bolletino, redshirt senior Conor Maslanek and sophomore Sawyer Van Rider also picked up wins on the night.

Campbell fell 25-17 to Gardner-Webb in the opening dual. At 125 pounds, Crouch opened with a pin at 6:05. Hodge followed with a 4-1 sudden-victory decision at 157 pounds, while Bolletino added bonus points at 174 with a 12-0 major decision. Van Rider closed the dual at heavyweight with a 17-5 major decision.

In the second matchup, Campbell dropped a 29-12 decision to Clarion. Hodge secured a 7-4 win at 157 pounds, and Maslanek added a 4-2 decision at 197.

UP NEXT

Campbell will host in-state and Southern Conference opponent App State on Jan. 30 at Gore Arena. The match is scheduled for 7 p.m.
