CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Campbell clinched a 4-3 decision in the final match to beat N.C. Central on Saturday before falling to North Carolina, Sunday afternoon at Chewning Tennis Center.
 
Max Hamon earned the decisive victory on court six in singles play against the Eagles, coming from behind to earn a 4-6, 7-6(5), 7-5 victory over Leo Fortieu Gariepy.
 
N.C. Central took the doubles points, but Thomas Drapeau and Aleksandar Hudjec took the first two singles courts to give the Camels a 2-1 advantage. The teams then exchanged victories on courts two, one and five, as Adi Dagan earned a victory over Naresh Bharathy, 7-5, 0-6, 6-1.
 
On Sunday afternoon, the Camels faced off against the Tar Heels, with the teams playing to the clinching point. UNC secured wins on courts two and three to take the doubles point, before winning the first three singles matches to finish the contest.
