Starting Friday, February 20, the Fighting Camel Club is opening its doors a little wider — and a little warmer — just in time for Family Weekend.
For the first time, parents of Campbell students will receive a 25% discount off Fighting Camel Club membership, a new initiative designed to welcome more families into the heart of Campbell Athletics. The goal is simple: to make the Fighting Camel Club more accessible to all families of Campbell students.
The Fighting Camel Club has long served as the backbone of Campbell University Athletics — funding scholarships, enhancing the student-athlete experience, and building championship-level programs. Now, by extending this special Family Weekend incentive, the Club is recognizing the vital role parents already play in that mission.
"Having more of our parents join the team behind our teams strengthens us as a department and as a community," said
Robin Gordon, Assistant Athletics Director for Development.
Family Weekend will be more than just cheering from the stands. It will be a chance to connect — with other families, with coaches, and with the broader Camel community — through exclusive events, enhanced game-day experiences, and behind-the-scenes engagement throughout the year.
By inviting parents into the Fighting Camel Club at a reduced rate, the club isn't just offering a discount. It's building a bridge — from proud supporters in the stands to invested partners in the mission.
A booth with be set up during Family Weekend on Saturday, February 21 at 2 p.m. in front of Gore Area offering memberships to the Fighting Camel Club and giving away prizes – including the chance to enter a drawing to win a Campbell Football helmet as well as a season ticket package for the sport of their choice. Membership discounts can also be purchased online
