CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Fighting Camels went 2-0 with a pair of 4-3 wins over Augusta and The Citadel on Sunday and Monday.
 
Augusta Recap
Campbell came from behind to secure the doubles point on court two thanks to a 7-5 victory from Adi Dagan and Matias Lofink.
 
The match continued under tough conditions with extreme wind, but Campbell took a 3-1 lead after the first three singles matches concluded. Augusta took courts one and two to even the team score with just one match remaining.
 
Aleksandar Hudjec delivered the clinching victory on court four, coming from behind to defeat Tommy Matsumine, 3-6, 6-3, 7-5.
 
The Citadel Recap
On Monday, Campbell and The Citadel began their match with singles play. Thomas Drapeau, Dagan and Alex Fragasso took courts one, two and three with a trio of straight-set victories.
 
The Citadel took the other three courts to make the score even with just the doubles point remaining. Dagan and Lofink started it off with their second doubles win of the weekend, earning a 6-2 win on court two.
 
The Bulldogs answered with a 6-2 win of their own on court one to create a winner-take-all scenario on court three.
 
The match on court three came down to a tiebreaker, with Fragasso and Mikolaj Kowal earning the win in the tightly contested affair, 7-6(4).
