BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell moved to 2-0 in CAA competition with a 6-1 victory over Hofstra, Friday afternoon at the James Nisbet Tennis Center.

The Camels clinched the doubles point with a 6-0 win on court one by
Alex Fragasso and
Max Hamon after the Pride defaulted on court three.
Thomas Drapeau and
Aleksandar Hudjec finished doubles play with a 6-2 victory on court two.

Hofstra defaulted again on court six in singles play. Fragasso earned the third point for CU on court two with a 6-2, 6-4 win, and Hamon clinched the match with his 7-5, 6-1 victory on court five over Amir Alberg.

Drapeau and Hudjec followed with a pair of three-set victories on courts one and three, respectively. Drapeau bounced back from a 6-4 set one loss to Alex Di Fruscia with a 6-0, 1-0(8) sweep in sets two and three.

Hudjec closed out Campbell's scoring with a bounce-back win on court three. He dropped the first set to Dominic Anderson, 6-1, but followed that with a pair of 6-3 wins for the victory.
