Campbell split a pair of midweek matches with a 7-0 sweep at home over Hofstra in an important league match Friday afternoon, before falling close at ECU on Saturday.

On Friday, March 20, at the Nisbet Tennis Center, the Fighting Camels shut out Hofstra 7-0 to improve to 2-0 in CAA competition. Campbell secured the doubles point with strong wins at Nos. 2 and 3: Ilouna Aneca and Sonia Pieczynska def. Isabella Cardinal / Sabira Mohamed (HOF) 6-0 at No. 2; Sandra Mari Marti and Mollie Garcia def. Katarina Drinchich / Ava Veneziano (HOF) 6-1 at No. 3.

In singles action the Camels won all six matches in straight sets decisively.

On Saturday, March 21, the Camels traveled to Greenville, N.C., for a non-conference dual at East Carolina's River Birch Tennis Complex. ECU claimed the doubles point with wins at Nos. 1 and 2: K. Auerswald / R. Calvo def. A. Carroll / H. Glen 6-3 at No. 1; X. Jeromina / L. Lancaster def. I. Aneca / S. Pieczynska 6-3 at No. 2. Campbell responded strongly at No. 3, where Sandra Mari Marti and Mollie Garcia def. J. Madi / I. Savekova (ECU) 6-2 (order of finish: 3, 1, 2).

The Camels picked up three hard fought wins in singles but ECU picked up the other three to secure the 4-3 win at home.
