BUIES CREEK, N.C. – The Fighting Camels dropped a close battle to visiting UNCG, losing the final match to fall 4-3 Tuesday afternoon at James Nisbet Tennis Center.

The Spartans earned the doubles point, but Campbell responded with quick victories from
Thomas Drapeau on court one and
Aleksandar Hudjec on court three to jump in front.

UNCG won the next two singles bouts to jump back ahead, 3-2, before
Ethan Richardson came back from a dropped first set to defeat Lars Frafjord, 1-6, 6-4, 6-3, on court six.

Match point was decided on court five, the final singles match to finish. UNCG's William Elmers bounced back from a loss in the first set to ultimately earn the team victory for the Spartans.
