BUIES CREEK, N.C. – The Campbell wrestling team heads to Asheville, North Carolina, for the 2026 SoCon Wrestling Championship. The championship begins Friday, March 6, and concludes Saturday, March 7, at Kimmel Arena on the campus of UNC Asheville.
Campbell, along with its eight league opponents, will compete for the 2026 Southern Conference title as well as 10 individual allocations to the upcoming NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships in Cleveland, Ohio.
The SoCon receives one automatic bid to the NCAA Championships in each of the 10 weight classes, awarded to the conference tournament champion in each division.
App State, Chattanooga and The Citadel each won a share of the 2025-26 regular-season title. There was also a three-way tie for fourth place in the standings between Bellarmine, Davidson and Gardner-Webb. Campbell finished the regular season eighth in the conference standings.
Action begins Friday at 10 a.m. inside Kimmel Arena on the campus of UNC Asheville. Saturday's competition starts at 10 a.m. with the consolation semifinals. The championship finals are scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday.
Live stats will be available, and all matches will be streamed on ESPN+.
