BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell bounced back from its first CAA loss of the season and a four-match losing streak with a 4-3 win in nail-biting fashion over Charleston, Tuesday afternoon at the James Nisbet Tennis Center.

The Camels (8-11, 3-1 CAA) jumped out to an early lead by taking two doubles courts to earn the first point. The duo of
Mikolaj Kowal and
Ethan Richardson moved to 2-0 this year on court three to clinch the point.

Campbell extended its lead to 2-0 thanks to
Aleksandar Hudjec's work on court three to open singles play. After a tight first set, Hudjec broke away in the second to defeat Ram Mude, 7-5, 6-1.

Charleston took the lead by winning the next three singles courts.
Alex Fragasso tied the team score at three, coming from behind to defeat Leon Harder on court two, 5-7, 6-4, 6-4.

The deciding point came down to a third-set tiebreaker on court one, where
Thomas Drapeau came out victorious for his team-high 10
th singles victory this season. He defeated Jakub Solarski, 7-5, 3-6, 7-6(5).
