Biography

Heading into her senior season, Weaver ranks in the top 10 of several Campbell career records. She entered the season tied for ninth in wins (28), sixth in ERA (2.12), fourth in appearances (102), fifth in games started (77), ninth in complete games (33), tied for fifth in shutouts (8), sixth in innings pitched (471.2), fourth in strike outs (264)

Junior (2006): Set a career-high in victories finishing 14-10 on the season...tied with Lauren Caviness for the team lead with a 1.83 ERA...named Atlantic Sun Pitcher of the Week on April 3 after posting a 0.40 ERA allowing one earned run in three appearances, posting a 2-0 record and six strikeouts...named to the NFCA Scholar-Athlete Team and the A-Sun All-Academic Team...went 6-3 with a 1.21 ERA with 30 strikeouts in 11 appearances in regular season conference games...didn’t allow an earned run in five different starts (Ohio, Charleston Southern, Lipscomb, North Florida and Mercer)...won 14 of 18 decisions from February 17 to April 15...didn’t allow an earned run in a 10.0 inning outing, in 2-1 loss at Mercer, striking out four batters...season-high six strikeouts in seven innings against Vermont...allowed two or fewer earned runs in 21 of her 25 starts...started the year 0-2, then rolled off victories in seven-straight decisions...finished the season tied for sixth in the A-Sun in ERA, seventh in innings pitched (160.2) and sixth in wins...surrendered just four home runs all season long...won six of her first seven starts in Atlantic Sun action, only loss was 2-0 decision in the second game of a doubleheader against A-Sun Champion Florida Atlantic (Weaver pitched both games of the doubleheader)

Sophomore (2005): Named to the Atlantic Sun All-Academic Team...made 28 appearances and 18 starts posting a team-best 1.59 ERA going 6-4 on the season...threw all 9 2/3 innings in season-opening 1-0 loss to East Carolina; the one run was unearned and she struck out six batters and allowed just four hits...went five or more innings in 11 outings...five or more strikeouts in five games...didn’t allow an earned run in first 21 1/3 innings of work to open last season...had 16 games where she didn’t allow an earned run and had nine games without a walk...earned the first save of her career with 2 2/3 innings of work against UNC Greensboro

Freshman (2004): A-Sun All-Academic Team member ... ranked in five A-Sun categories: innings pitched (6th), batters struck out (15th), appearances (2nd), ERA (15th), games started (34th) ... led team in games started (34), complete games (15), shutouts (4), innings pitched (192.1) ... ranks second in Campbell single-season history in appearances and games started ... made first career start in game two of season opening series against Radford ... gave up two runs on five hits in five innings and struck out two en route to an 11-2 complete game victory ... career-high 8 strikeouts against Georgia State ... started the season with a  3-1 record, including shutout victories over Charleston Southern and Liberty... struck out five or more batters eight times...swept Belmont allowing one run in each game while striking out eight batters total and allowing just eight hits.

Prep/Personal: Prepped at Henry County High School...was an All-Georgia selection and the team's most valuable pitcher in 1999 (freshman) season ... pitched 52 consecutive innings without allowing an earned run and posted a 0.45 ERA in 2000 (sophomore) campaign en route to earning all-conference honors...full name is Kelly Deanna Weaver ... daughter of T.J. and Karen Weaver ... has one sister, Kristen ... born on Sept. 26, 1984 ... majoring in trust
