Biography

2021 (Redshirt Senior):
  • Big South Tournament MVP, went 4-6 at the plate throughout the tournament with two doubles, a home run, and four RBIs with a slugging percentage of 1.500.
  • Started 40 games for the Camels
  • Batted .264 for the season with 13 extra base hits
  • Hit the game winning three-run home run in the first round of the Big South Tournament against Radford (5/13) in the sixth inning
  • Earned her first hit for Campbell against Eastern Kentucky (2/27)
2020 (FAU):
  • Made five starts in the circle for the Owls with seven appearances 
  • Tallied 21 at bats in 10 games played for FAU
  • Had her debut on 2/8 pitching an inning against Purdue
  • On 2/21 against North Florida, Blount earned her first hit in an Owl uniform
  • In C-USA action, she lead the team against Charlotte going 2-4, 2 RBIs and a double 
  • Recorded 21 innings pitched striking out 10 batters
  • One of 22 FAU softball players to be named to the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll
  • One of 61 FAU student-athletes to earn C-USA Commissioner's Academic Medal
2017-2019 (UAB):
  • Led the Blazers with nine wins while tossing 126 strikeouts following her freshman campaign
  • Also held the team-leading ERA with 2.94, while also pitching the most innings with 162.0 complete during her freshman campaign
  • Named to the C-USA All-Freshman Team in 2017
  • Threw a career-high 10 strikeouts vs. Miami (OH) (3/3/2018)
  • Pitched a career-high 11.0 innings against Jacksonville State (4/4/2017)
  • Shown to be a pitcher who can also rake after batting .305 her junior season with five doubles, 19 RBI and a .427 slugging percentage

  • Gatorade Player of the Year nominee in 2014 and 2015
  • Selected to the All-State First Team after successful junior and senior campaigns
