Prep (North Pitt): Was a pitcher and a shortstop for the Panthers in his four year varsity career…  As a junior he was selected as the Defensive player of the year… As a sophomore he was won the team Pitcher-of-the-Year award and recorded a 1.14 ERA the lowest in school history…. Also competed on the varsity cross country team… Earned the Prominent Panther award four times.
