Miranda Slack

Slack joined the Sports Medicine staff in August 2025. In her role, she will serve as the athletic trainer with baseball and men's cross country. 

Slack comes to Campbell from the University of Texas at Arlington, where she served as an Associate Athletic Trainer since September of 2023 and working with the softball program. She provided sole medical coverage for home and away events, and she also worked to develop and provide individualized rehabilitation programs to reduce injury risk and improve performance.

Prior to UTA, Slack was the team athletic trainer for the Texas Smoke, a Women's Professional Fastpitch team. In the summer Slack was with the organization, the team won the regular season championship. 

Slack earned her Master of Science in Exercise Science from Texas State University in 2023. During that time, she worked as a graduate assistant and was the primary athletic trainer for softball. During that time, she also assisted with the tennis, baseball and football team coverage. In the Spring 2022 season, Slack was named the Texas State Athletic Trainer of the Year.

Slack received her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Alabama in May 2021. While in Tuscaloosa, she worked with the football, baseball, track and field, cross country and women's basketball teams. She was a recipient of the Presidential Scholarship and was named on the President's List and Dean's List.

Slack is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association.
