Josh Arruda joined the Campbell staff in May 2025 as Director of Basketball Analytics and Camps. He comes to The Creek following three years with Marymount University (DIII), serving as assistant coach during the 2024-25 season.Â
Over his three years at Marymount, Arruda worked the first two as a graduate assistant, before earning his MBA and a promotion to assistant coach. In his season as assistant coach, the Saints went 17-10, 9-3 in league play. He worked with Atlantic East DPOY Reuben McEachern, as well as Isaac Harris and Marcus Stubbs who also earned all-conference honors.
As a GA, Arruda helped the Saints to back-to-back America East conference titles and trips to the NCAA Tournament. Across his three seasons at Marymount, the team went 53-30, 29-7 in conference.Â
Arruda, originally from Morrisville, Pa., played four years for McDaniel College. He was a two-year starter and named a Team Leader for the Green Terror. He played in 67 games over three seasons, notching a career-high of 15 points against Penn College.Â
He has spent time as a coach for Hoop Group Elite Camps and coached AAU for the PA Runnin' Aces, Philly Pride Bucks and his own Program - Arruda's Basketball Club.Â
Arruda has recently founded his own company, Arruda's Basketball Club LLC, a youth basketball program in Arlington Virginia. They offer individual and group training options, developmental teams, camps and clinics during APS off days and the summer.
Arruda graduated from McDaniel with a double major in business administration concentrated in entrepreneurship and another degree in accounting/economics. He earned his MBA with a concentration in hospitality and innovation from Marymount in 2024.
