2005-06:  Gained a berth on the Atlantic Sun All-Academic Team for the second-straight year… One of just two Camels to play in all 10 tournaments… Posted a 75.6 stroke average (2118 strokes) over 28 rounds… Had four, top-20 individual showings, including a season-best tie for 14th at the Pirate Fall Invitational (Oct. 17-18), where he shot 73-74-74—221… Tied for 17th at Seascape Collegiate (Oct. 31-Nov. 1) and Stetson Invitational (Nov. 7-8)… Shot season-low 68 at Seascape (Nov. 1), which tied for the team’s second-lowest round of the year… Tied for 21st at Atlantic Sun Championship (Apr. 17-19) with even-par 219 (76-73-70) on par-73 layout…

 

2004-05:  Did not participate in any of the team’s events… Earned a place on the Atlantic Sun Conference All-Academic Team…

 

Prep / Personal:  Mark Stephen Coppell has played in the British Boys National Championship… Former Surrey U-16 Champion…  Son of Stephen and Jane Coppell… His father, Steve, is manager (head coach) of Reading FC in the English Premier League and also played professional soccer with Tranmere Rovers and Manchester United while making 42 international appearances with England… Born March 14, 1986 in Redhill, England… Economics major…
