Played full 110 minutes in OT draws vs. No.-30 Furman (8/26) and at Virginia Tech (10/11)... On field for every minute of 11 games... 2009: Saw action in 16 games with 14 starts as a freshman for A-Sun regular season champions… Made collegiate debut in at UNC Wilmington (9/1) and initial start vs. William & Mary (9/5)… First career goal at Lipscomb (10/1) sent the game into OT for an eventual 2-2 draw… Played full 110 minutes vs. the Bisons… Collected first career assist in win at Belmont (10/3)… Started final 12 games of year, and played all 1100 minutes.
Prep/Personal: Benjamin Shepherd Iiames joined the Camels from Broughton High School, which won two state 4-A championships during his career… Over his final two seasons, the Caps posted a 47-3-2 record, a 28-0-1 mark in 2007… As a senior, he earned all-conference and all-region honors for the 19-3-1 Caps after scoring 11 goals and adding 9 assists for the Cap-7 Conference champions… Played for Coach Doug Hess on the ‘90 CASL Elite club team that captured 2009 NCYSA State Cup Championship and advanced to the USYSA Region III Championships in Frisco, Texas… Born Feb. 12, 1991 in Newton, Mass… Kinesiology major.
