Milkowski joined the Fighting Camels in Spetember 2022 after working as a freelance performance coach since 2016. She coached softball at Highlands Ranch High School in Colo. from 2016 to 2018. 

"We're excited to have Joy on staff," said Head Coach Trena Prater. "I'm thankful for Hannah Bazemore allowing us to add a player performance and development role for our athletes. It's very important to train the whole student athlete, so what Joy is going to bring to our team is priceless. I'm thankful for the support of the administration and excited to see Joy working with our student athletes to develop and become better athletes and better people."
 
Milkowski founded Access Marketing in 2006 and continues to serve as the founding partner. She also founded Team Colorado Rawlings Softball Club in 2016 and coached them until 2020. She helped the flagship team achieve a #3 national rank. 
 
She graduated from the University of Kansas with a bachelor's degree in Journalism.
