2023 (Freshman)
Indoor - Competed at four meets during his first indoor season... Placed ninth in the shot put at the Big South Championships with mark of 14.50m (47' 7")... Outdoor - Placed seventh in the discus at the Meet of Champions with mark of 42.52m (139' 6") and eighth in the shot put with mark of 14.36m (47' 1.5")... Set personal bests and finished fifth in the shot put with mark of 15.07m (49' 5.5") and ninth in the discus with mark of 44.59m (146' 3") at the Big South Championships...
Prep/Personal
- Competes in shot put, discus, weight throw and hammerÂ
- Graduated from Apex HS in 2022 working under coaches John Mozerka, Roy Cooper and Mark Trezona
- Set high school records of 50' 10.25" in the shot put and 157' 6" in the discus
- 2x men's field MVP in 2021 & 2022
- 2x conference champion in discus, 1x conference champ in shot put
- Helped Apex HS to conference title in 2022
- Also played football at Apex
- Named to honor roll all four years at Apex
- Hobbies include hunting, fishing and driving
- Decided to come to Campbell because "It's close to home and I know people who go here."
- Intending to major in business management with plans to work in real estate or at a startup following graduation
